It looks like we’re going to go up against PSV and Everton in a mini-tournament on August 6th and 9th at St. James’ Park. Should be a fair old test - the Dutch champions and the scouse lot that punched way above their weight last season.

Looks like we’ve signed Plymouth teenager Aaron Spear. Not exactly the big name we’re hoping for, more one for the future. Although you never know with King Kev. If he’s got pace, and doesn’t know how to defend then we could see a fair bit of him this season
